Open House at the new studio……Carnival Style!!!! We have been working hard on renovating two historic train cars in our hometown of Oviedo, Florida, into a beautiful gallery and office as well as a full functioning studio space. So what better way to show it off than have a big old party to “officially” open the doors to our new train car studio. We were happy to see over 100 clients, other wedding vendors, business partners, friends and neighbors show up to help celebrate our new digs. The mayor of Oviedo, and several city council members, even stopped by to check it out and help with the ribbon cutting ceremony. We are so thankful to everybody that helped make the event the talk of the town. This studio is truly a work of art in itself and Cristy and I are excited to share it with the world. Nicole and David tied the knot at Knowles Memorial Chapel on the campus of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. What a beautiful place to have a wedding. The chapel was filled with the soothing sounds of harpist Christine MacPhail and you could not have asked for a more perfect day. Their reception followed at the historic University Club of Orlando where DJ Kristen of OurDJRocks kept the party hopping all night long. Everybody had a blast and Nicole and David sure put on a party. Thanks to the both of you, your families and friends, and best of luck with everything in your futures!!!
We were excited to photograph Angela & Jay’s Key West Wedding at the beautiful Westin Resort in Key West, Florida. The day was enjoyed by all who attended, and although Hurricane Jangela blew through on their special day (not really a hurricane, but boy was it windy), the party didn’t stop when the wedding ended. The ceremony was set on the pier right behind the resort and the Key West Museum of Art & History in the Custom House and the reception ended up in a ballroom at the resort due to the weather. We did however get some beautiful shots of the stunning bride and the dapper groom. After the reception the party continued late into the night at several of the bars and nightclubs downtown on Duval Street. Thank you Angela and Jay for including us in your special day. What a fun weekend in Key West, Florida!!!
Trayanna and Mack’s beautiful wedding went off without a hitch at the Winter Park Presbyterian Church and the reception followed at Interlachen Country Club, all in Winter Park, Florida. You could just tell that these two were ready to tie the knot, have a blast at their celebration with all their friends and family, and get started on a bright future together!!! The bride and groom looked amazing and WOW, what a party. We wish you both nothing but happiness in all your years to come.
Michael and Jessica were married at Bella Collina Country Club in beautiful MonteVerde, Florida, and WOW is all I can say! Nothing like bringing at taste of Italy right here to Central Florida. This wedding was one of the most emotional weddings Cristy and I have shot in a while as there were several moments we both had to step back from the camera and wipe the tears away. We were fortunate to work with Cinematique Films who filmed the entire event and Frank from White Rose Entertainment who rocked the party. Congratulations Michael & Jessica on putting on a kicking event and we wish you all the best with everything that comes in your futures!!!
Sorry for being so absent on the blog lately. Between everything going on with the new studio, shooting events including weddings, births, babies, mamas to be, families, etc., everyone’s favorite day, tax day, my transition to full time with the Nielsens Photography & Design, and so on and so on, we have seriously neglected our blogging…….

Carl Franzen of AOL online penned it best in his article, “NASA called the predawn launch “spectacular,” “picture-perfect” and its “most visually beautiful launch ever,” which accurately summed up the reaction of many observers.” We would have to agree!!!

(To guarantee your appointment time, we will collect a $50 reservation fee which will be applied to your print order). You get an approximately 30-minutes–one outfit, one backdrop–in studio or right outside session. Choose and order your images on the spot. Prints ordered immediately after the session will receive 10% off. If you prefer to place your order later, the discount does not apply. These sessions are limited to family (up to 5 subjects), maternity, children or babies. Newborns aren’t included in this offer since their sessions require extensive preparation and move at a different pace. Of course, if you have a newborn you’d like photographed, we would be happy to offer a newborn session at 50% off our normal session fee. You may remember Noah, we’ve been photographing him since he was a wee little baby. He gets cuter and cuter at every shoot and we always love to photograph him. I tell his parents he’s like a little mini college student… too smart for his own good and he just has that little scholarly look about him. Here’s this year’s shoot… yes he’s cute, so cute you want to eat him up!

Drooling over this freaking video!!! I love it and am so JEALOUS and want one NOW. We have taken plenty of pictures of each other setting up for a shot to do something like this, but need someone to video!!!! AWESOME!!!!!
