Orlando Photography Studio ~ The “Official” Open House

Open House at the new studio……Carnival Style!!!! We have been working hard on renovating two historic train cars in our hometown of Oviedo, Florida, into a beautiful gallery and office as well as a full functioning studio space. So what better way to show it off than have a big old party to “officially” open the doors to our new train car studio. We were happy to see over 100 clients, other wedding vendors, business partners, friends and neighbors show up to help celebrate our new digs. The mayor of Oviedo, and several city council members, even stopped by to check it out and help with the ribbon cutting ceremony. We are so thankful to everybody that helped make the event the talk of the town. This studio is truly a work of art in itself and Cristy and I are excited to share it with the world. Wow, it’s been a CRAZY busy holiday season! We have slacked on our blogging in order to keep up with the holiday orders and sessions and truly apologize for the lack of attention to the blog!! There is lots of catching up to do and lots of sessions to post, so stay tuned for the posts to come!! Also keep an eye out for our January studio specials. We will be offering an introductory rate to celebrate our new studio!!

Orlando Portrait Photographer ~ Update on holiday sessions!!!

Our holiday portrait season is approaching fast and we are filling up our fall schedule! If you plan on having us do your family portraits this year for your holiday cards please contact us as soon as possible to book your session. Between out of town weddings, and a few trips out of state, September and October weekends are already almost fully booked, and weekday sessions are going fast! As always our premier holiday sessions include 25 5×8 photo cards. Our order deadline for guaranteed holiday delivery is November 15th. There will be no exceptions and be aware that we are taking the last week of November and first week of December off to travel to an out of town wedding and enjoy some family time! If you are wanting a simple session our “mini” sessions will take place on October 10th, for ONE day only so please contact us now to inquire and to book your preferred time slot. The session fee for a mini session is half of the normal premier rate and includes a half hour of shooting time, and a complimentary digital file of your choice for your holiday cards. These sessions are only offered once a year so act fast to secure your spot! We can be reached at 407-619-1359.

Orlando Children’s Photographer ~ Happy Birthday Bodhi!!

You may remember Bodhi from last year. I photographed his beautiful mommy Nandi’s maternity photos and Bodhi’s birth. Well the little squirt who made his way into all of our hearts turned one! I can’t believe it’s been a year!!! Nandi and I have spent quite a bit of time together the last year and I’ve gotten to Nandi & Jason well and am thrilled to have become friends with them. They had a really great party for Bodhi in Deland and we drove up to attend. It was pretty surreal to be there when he was born and to help them celebrate his first birthday! Please help me in congratulating Nandi & Jason to year two of parenthood! Bodhi is almost walking, let the GAMES begin! [[Show as slideshow]]

Lakeland Wedding ~ Ahhhh young love…..

So yesterday we hooked up with Lauren and Nathan for an engagement session in downtown Orlando. Our first stop was at Lake Eola to capture some shots with their little boy, Lucas. Let me tell you…..this little guy is going to have the ladies falling all over him with his infectious smile and fun personality. A special thanks to Lois (Lauren’s mother) for taking and watching him when we were done, so we could go play with mommy & daddy some more. So we cruised around the lake, watched a spectacular sunset, then ventured into downtown for some evening fun. After dinner and drinks at The Crooked Bayou we scoped out some fun locations around Church Street and downtown to capture the love and excitement between these two. Thank you to Latitudes and Club 23 for letting us shoot on the rooftop as well as in their stairways. We are excited for you Lauren and Nathan, and cannot wait to photograph your wedding in June.[[Show as slideshow]]

Winter Park Wedding Photographer ~ A lovely day at Interlachen Country Club

Nikki and Van got married a few weeks ago at Interlachen Country Club. We had a great time capturing their family portraits and their special day. John and I both fully enjoyed their sense of humor and their family was a ton of fun! If you are looking for a place to have a wedding the staff at Interlachen is wonderful! Orlando Maternity Photographer ~ No really, there are two in there….

So one of our previous clients called and dropped some news…….she is pregnant, and not just with one, but two. Cristy about fell out of her comfy chair from the shock and joy. So we cruised over to see Mrs. Lindy who is 31 weeks prego with twins and looks awesome. We got to photograph Lindy and her daughter at their beautiful lakeside home and we could not have asked for a more perfect day. Lindy, good luck with the upcoming birth. A canvas gallery share!!

You may remember Claudine Jackson, we photographed her family about 2 months ago. She ordered a bunch of wall canvas’ for her home, and they turned out great! She created an awesome wall gallery with them and sent me the photos so I thought I would share. Being a fellow photographer she totally “gets” the whole canvas thing, why they are awesome and why bigger truly is better! They look so awesome and I’m so excited to see them on her walls! Right before we went to Maine for vacation, my cousin had a baby girl which they named Kami. She is adorable and has the most hair on any baby I’ve ever seen! After Camdyn’s baptism I got some shots of them with their new baby girl. Big brother Taegin wasn’t so sure what to do with her…lol… it was pretty funny.
