Orlando Wedding Photographer ~ Simple and Sweet

So we were beyond thrilled to shoot the wedding of Erin & Matt recently in Orlando, Florida. After our E*Session with these two both Cristy and I commented on how much these guys oozed with love for each other. You can just tell by the way Matt looks at Erin and in return how Erin looks at Matt. From their first look before the ceremony at College Park Presbyterian through their last dance at their reception, which may I add they did as their guests exited the reception and lined up for their final send off, these two were just smitten with each other. This was something even brought up in the father of the bride’s speech, which was emotionally charged and full of tender personal thoughts and stories. One of the best we have heard, in our humble opinions. Their reception was at Historical Dubsdread Ballroom where Cathie Ashby and her staff do a top notch job putting on a seamless event. Gorgeous floral decor was provided by Tommy Murphy at Greenery Productions, Inc. and a stunning wedding cake was custom designed by Party Flavors. Entertainment, dancing and mood lighting at the reception were all provided by the ever spunky Kristen with OurDJRocks! From the time we showed up, to the time we left we enjoyed every second of being a part of this special event. We want wish both Erin & Matt a long, prosperous, healthy marriage. Congratulations!!! Destination Wedding Photograper ~ The Clouds Parted and then…..

So they say it’s good luck if it rains on your wedding day, right? Well what do they say if there is a crazy thunder, lightning and rain storm on your wedding day? Fortunately for Catharine & Chase, the rain stopped, the clouds parted, and we were graced with one of the most breathtaking sunsets we have ever seen. If there is one place you want to be for a fabulous sunset, it is at The Moorings Club in Vero Beach, Florida. After a sentimental and joyous ceremony, we made sure to get out and capture some stunning sunset images with the bride and groom, and these two were very happy to oblige. This wedding was sprinkled with little special details throughout. The bride’s heirloom bouquet broach and comfy boat shoes, the groom’s shotgun shell belt buckle and turtle design tie, the driftwood signature board for the guests, the long island iced teas served in mason jars, Grandma’s Girdle Buster Pie for the bride and groom in lieu of cake, and of course, the goodbye and exit on their fishing boat. Tonia Shaw, the amazing coordinator at The Moorings Club, along with her awesome staff, are incredible to work with. Insane dance moves were displayed throughout the evening to the rocking tunes of the City Lights Band. Beautiful floral bouquets and displays throughout were arranged by Hutchinson’s Floral Artistry and hair and make up for the all the ladies was provided by A Pampered Life. We are so fortunate to be able to be a part of such special wedding days like this one. Thank you Catharine and Chase for trusting us with the responsibility of capturing your wedding day. Some weddings can be hectic, busy, basically a blur, especially if there are hundreds of guests in attendance. So what do you do as a bride and groom to get through this? Let me re-introduce you to Sarah & Miles whom we thoroughly enjoyed working with throughout their entire wedding process. The two had told us that they had been to quite a few weddings recently and one of the common disappointments they heard coming from the bride and grooms mouth were, they didn’t get enough alone time together to enjoy what was happening, to “savor the moment”. Well Sarah & Miles made it a point to make time together alone to enjoy each other on their wedding day. I mean after all, this celebration, this event, this gathering is really about one thing. These two people coming together to share a life together, right? Why not take time with each other alone during the day to take in everything that has, is and will happen? Little things that these two did to spend time together just exemplified their love for each other, and their desire to take time for themselves as a newlywed couple. Everything from a special first look before the ceremony to exchange gifts, to riding in the limo alone from First Presbyterian Church of Orlando to the reception at the Country Club of Orlando, and having a table for two set up in a private room away from all the guests to enjoy their first meal together as a married couple. These two made the time for each other, and for that I think they will always look back on their wedding day and say they loved every minute of it together! Another well planned and well executed wedding by Wonderful Weddings, unique yet gorgeous floral arrangements by Czes Heard and jamming tunes late into the evening by The Neons. Destination Wedding Photographer ~ Rebecca & Marshall – Cape Cod Beauty

Check out Rebecca and Marshall’s wedding that John and I flew up to photograph in Massachusetts the weekend of June 4th! It was such a beautiful wedding and location and we were so thrilled to be there to capture it all. Rebecca’s dad and mine have been best friends since they were kids, and I have known Rebecca my whole life. So needless to say when we were asked to photograph the wedding we were thrilled! We started the day in the very quaint and private community of Nonquitt near South Dartmouth. It was everything you envision Cape Cod to be… beach homes, beautiful scenery, rocky coastline and the whole 9. The weather was perfect, a balmy 70 degrees which was just awesome for us and a nice break from our Florida weather! An intimate, thoughtful and emotional ceremony was performed at The Congregational Church of South Dartmouth which is a charming and historic church that started roots in the area in 1807. The reception at the Country Club of New Bedford in North Dartmouth was an elegant venue for a party and Brendan Lafferty of B-Sharp Entertainment had everybody dancing and having a great time! So sometimes Cristy and I need to shoot just to let those creative juices flow. To produce an image that comes into our minds, but one that often times, we do not have the time to create when we are on a wedding day schedule. Cristy has been wanting to do this country bridal themed shoot for a while now, so she rounded up an incredible crew and we headed out to some different locations right here in Oviedo, Florida. As you can see, a beautiful outcome was the result! We were so very fortunate to have some incredible talent and minds helping contribute and document this shoot.

Orlando Wedding Photographer ~ KC & Cameron……une nuit d’amour!

So how often do you get to spend a night in Paris? Well if you attended the wedding of KC and Cameron at the Country Club of Orlando, you were in for “un plaisir français” (a french treat)! Friends and family were spoiled with an authentic Parisian Flea Market, a fresh flower stand, a cheese, bread and fruit market and a candy & sweets bar that would satisfy the most extreme sweet tooth. Multiple cakes by Confectionary Creations by Heather were displayed throughout the club, beautiful lighting and ambiance provided by Kaleidoscope Event Lighting and luscious, vibrant flowers everywhere by Lana Faulkner of Fairbanks Florist. The bride and groom enjoyed a grand ceremony, a fabulous dinner and jammin’ tunes throughout the evening by Wings of Sound. A truly incomparable, exquisite event envisioned by KC and decorated by Stacy Coon. KC’s hard work and desire to have a unique and detailed wedding was recognized by Orange Appeal Magazine and is one of the Wonderful Weddings featured in the January/February 2011 issues at “these stores – click on me” today! Orlando Wedding Photographer ~ Lana….Dante…..and a little Magic!!!

If you are an Orlando Magic fan, you may recognize the groom from Magic Overtime with Dante & Galante, an entertaining show with a unique look at the NBA and the Orlando Magic, that airs on Sun Sports 0n Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights every week. If your not an Orlando Magic fan, you should check out the show and see what they are all about. With that being said, we had a blast photographing Lana and Dante on their wedding day in Winter Park, Florida. These two are absolutely smitten with each other and when they look at each other, talk to each other, hold each other, you can tell that they were made to be together. This day included a colorful, fun filled ceremony at College Park Presbyterian Church, and a lively, high energy reception at the Tap Room at historic Dubsdread Golf Course hosted by the amazing M.J. the DJ of Junction 88 Productions. Dante and Lana even had an inflatable Orlando Magic double hoop out back to let their guests try their luck at making some free throws and jump shots. Too much fun! From start to finish Cristy and I found ourselves smiling, laughing and even dancing a little during this wedding. Orlando Wedding Photographer ~ Katie & David Trash the Dress

As photographers we often times have ideas swirling around in our heads, and every so often, we need to shoot simply to express some of our visions. Katie and David happen to be that couple that will just let us do our thing. They are our muse, our source of inspiration. These two love getting in front of our cameras, and in return, we love photographing them. We can count on them to spice up the shoot with their intimate stares and their obvious deep connection to each other. It wasn’t exactly the Florida weather that helped create the hot and steamy images, but a couple totally in love and all about expressing it. Downtown Oviedo will never be the same!!! Destination Wedding Photographer ~ Maine Wedding Part Deux

So we knew we were in for a fun wedding when the groom zoomed in and landed his float plane on the lake and taxied up to the dock where the wedding was to take place. Talk about a grand entrance! Meet Mary Kate and Charlie, the bride and groom we were fortunate enough to photograph up on Great Moose Lake in Hartland, Maine. These two put together an intimate, classy wedding with a small group of family and and friends. Mary Kate surprised Charlie by ducking inside and changing into a formal wedding dress, which he had no clue about. So capturing his expression when he saw her come down the stairs in a different dress for the ceremony was quite memorable. These two wanted to make sure each couple at the wedding had a beautiful portrait, so we spent a good amount of time making sure everybody looked great and felt comfortable before clicking the shutter. An elegant dinner was served afterwords and fun was had by all. We wish these two many years of love and happiness and want to say thank you for including us in their special day. Destination Wedding Photographer ~ Jenn & Chris’s Maine Wedding

Part of the reason we went to Maine was to photograph Jenn & Chris’s wedding. These two came up from New Jersey to tie the knot at in a beautiful Maine country setting. The days leading up to their wedding date were dreary, rainy and cold. But on their wedding day the clouds parted, the warmth came and the day was absolutely gorgeous. Both Jenn & Chris got ready, at separate camps, on Flying Pond in Vienna, Maine. They did a first look down by the lake and then we were able to knock out all the family and bridal party formals BEFORE the wedding. Gotta love that since it gave us a whole hour in between to go and do some fun stuff with just the two of them. Some of the old buildings in Mt. Vernon, Maine made for a great back drop, and we found an amazing spot with two adirondack chairs overlooking a breathtaking valley of tree tops. Once we were done, we drove the couple to their actual wedding site at Alden Camps, in Oakland Maine for the ceremony and reception. Jenn had everything planned out and every little detail was amazingly thought through. The wedding location was intimate and fit the theme of the day perfectly. After an emotional ceremony and a delicious dinner, a fun reception with dancing and games commenced in the quaint red barn. Thank you Jenn & Chris for including us in your wedding plans and may the rest of your marriage be as special as the wedding day was!!! [[Show as slideshow]]

New Smyrna Beach Wedding Photographer ~ Brittany & Chad…..fun, fun & more fun!

New Smyrna Beach, Florida is a beautiful place to have a wedding. Brittany and Chad were happily wed barefoot on the beach with a backdrop of blue skies and ocean water. From the minute we arrived until the sparkler send away in the boat at the end of the evening, we had nothing but fun! We want to wish Brittany & Chad a lifetime of happiness and love as these two compliment each other so well. A special thank you to celebrate!
