And you'll need to be above F6.3 or so to get everyone in focus. Easy trick is to take the number of heads and that will be your f stop. Ex... 8 heads, F8. I'd never go below 5.6 for a group shot though. You also need to stand back and then zoom in. Hope that helps! :) Kate I use center weighted. I have their heads on the same plane. I was playing with my focus options on my camera think I might have switched to the wrong setting.
