Now you really know I am…lol! A client and friend of mine Nandi turned me onto Elimination Communication (EC) with babies. I had heard about it previously, but always couldn’t believe that people could do this. She told me to give it a try so we did. EC basically means that you are teaching your baby to do their potty business on the potty and not in their diaper by listening to their cues and knowing when they need to go. I tried the first morning and WOW, she went right on cue. We’ve been doing it just over a week now and she is totally getting it. It’s so wild to see a 7 month old on the potty!! But if I can eliminate a few diapers a day I’m all for it! So far so good, had to share these funny photos of her. Reminds me of her daddy, chillin on the potty with her book. HA! Poor child is going to be tortured with these someday when she gets older I’m sure!
